The idea behind this project mainly consists in drawing attention upon the relationship between what is on the top layer or at the highest point of Capitoline Hill and the archeological world underground.(Lanciani's Rome map of Capitoline Hill was the information recorded on top of Piranesi's void). The approach was to experiment with Piranesi's different methods of representation, one the dialectics used in Campo Marzio and the other, the ones used in Carceri.
