Abstract
Throughout history, symbolic presentation of a woman always had a purpose of presenting something other of cultural realm, than herself. Moderata Fonte wrote the book 'The worth of women" in the Renaissance, the time when the voices of women were silent. Seven characters and gathering site - the room - was a starting point of my thesis project. My approach was to set up a stage for narrative where I could architecturally rewrite a condition of chosen characters, whose attributes historically staged, I wanted to de-symbolize.
