Abstract
I thought I would start by exploring what community meant. The way I did that was with these two drawings that were a result of conceptualizing in two dimensions what a program could be and what a spatial idea could be. That was the beginning -- a painting that was a construction of twenty members of the community; I wanted then to somehow house these people.
