Abstract
The initial inspiration for my thesis project came from a friend of a family, who as a retired engineer spends many hours fishing. The program of my project is a series of homes for sport fisher in the waters of Broad Channel. Through investigation of local tidal changes as well as local wood building construction fit for building on the water I am interested in creating homes that are in close connection to nature, that bride earth with water, while taking into consideration the change in waters high due to tide (just as bay fishing is effected by tidal changes).
