Abstract
My collection of found objects - bottles, cups, and glasses - evoked a chain of associations that led, through a series of still life drawings, to a subject for a thesis. I fabricated a story about a gold prospector and his descendants of three generations: a mining tycoon, a geologist, and an architect, set on a slope in Colorado mining country.
