Abstract
My thesis project began the moment I landed in the Southwest.
Arizona introduced a particular charm and solitude no other place did before. Site and program are an essential part in my thesis.

There is a very strong desire to get to the essence of the land, and to be able to project the core and heart of a place. The transformation from night and day intrigued me.

There are three conceptual elements introduced in my thesis : The Cacti, The Drum and Basketry.
