Abstract
I imagined Manhattan Island as the ancient island of Ithaca where Penelope awaits the return of her beloved Ulysses. In the terminal structure she is strategically situated at the southernmost tip of Manhattan (Ithaca) where she overlooks the New York Harbor (Mare Nostrum). My intention was to create a terminal worthy of this great city of New York.
